- Haze
- Live music performed by a band
- Darkness with flashlights used as a light source

- A face split up in distorted ways
- The painting "Saturn Devouring His Son" by Francisco Goya (which depicts a titan feasting on a human body)

- The concept of the "euthanasia rollercoaster" (a ride which, by design, results in death)

- A single mother with two adult children
- A character who chooses to remain silent and not speak
