Gwenyth Kills Her Husband @ Halifax Fringe Festival

GWENYTH KILLS HER HUSBAND

Written by Jessie Walker. Directed by Colleen Arcturus MacIsaac and Dan Bray.

A co-production with Around + Out Theatre Co. The Bus Stop Theatre Cooperative.

There are three Ts every Tradwife knows to uphold when keeping the household (and the brand) Timid, Traditional, and Timeless. When Gwenyth and Charlotte decide to take the brand into their own hands, blood gets spilled, sponsorships are broken, and husbands are… ground up. From the mind of “Horse Girls” playwright Jessie Walker and featuring performances by Halifax favourites, “Gwenyth Kills her Husband” is a new queer play about traditional values, chain-smoking chickens, root vegetables, psychedelics, momagers, and what it truly means to break the rules.
