Observatory Mansions
Based on Edward Carey’s celebrated 2000 novel, Observatory Mansions centres on a group of recluses living alone together in an ancestral home-turned-slum building. A new tenant’s unexpected arrival ushers in an age of upheaval, forever altering the estranged residents and bringing forbidden secrets to light. Against a backdrop of decay, isolation, and urban development, the story explores the weight of memory, the struggle for human connection, and the potential of transformation.
