Upstart Crow reading series starts this June 15th!
WOMEN BEWARE WOMEN – June 15th, 7:30pm, The Bus Stop Theatre
Middleton’s notorious gender-based drama is a ruthless power trip that leaves very few standing and no one looking good. With a view filtered through the male gaze, we see a host of female villains and victims whose desperate struggle for survival leaves sisterhood in the dust.
Introduced and curated by Keelin Jack.

The Villain’s Theatre’s Upstart Crow Reading Series provides Halifax actors and audiences with the opportunity to hear the beautiful, challenging, and neglected texts of Shakespeare’s peers, read aloud in a relaxed environment, hosted by The Bus Stop Theatre.
Past Upstart Crow readings have included The Changeling, The Tyrant, Endymion (the Man in the Moon), A Fair Quarrel, Doctor Faustus, The Old Wives Tale, The Knight of the Burning Pestle, Volpone, Arden of Faversham, A Woman Killed with Kindness, and The Tamer Tamed.
